Just three days after suffering a mini stroke, Kim Zolciak-Biermann is still undergoing treatment.
The reality star and Dancing With the Stars contestant revealed on Friday morning that she has one more procedure.
“Going
in for one more procedure, things are looking up! don’t let the oxygen
scare you its just protocol,” she wrote on Instagram. “I wanted THANK
all of you for the love! I feel so overwhelmed with all the texts,
comments etc. I’m so grateful to have all of you!
#TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing.”
After
the taping of DWTS on Tuesday, the beauty took a late night flight back
home to Atlanta and as soon as she got home, the former RHOA star
suffered a transient ischemic attack, or mini stroke. Zolciak
experienced classic signs of a stroke, including numbness on the left
side of the body and slurred speech.
The 37-year-old’s professional dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, released a statement on Friday that read:
“After
spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a
fighter she is. Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and
it’s amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping
for a speedy recovery.”
